FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – Saundra Davis, a long-time Virginian, mother of three, and advocate for pragmatic, people-first leadership, officially launched her campaign for the Virginia House of Delegates, District 15, on Sunday, June 22nd surrounded by supporters and curious bystanders at Burke Lake Park with a clear focus on restoring common sense in Richmond. Davis is stepping forward to build and broaden a coalition of families, small businesses, and residents ready for real taxpayer-focused solutions, not more politics.
“Fairfax County deserves leadership that listens, that solves problems, and that doesn’t shy away from doing the right thing-even when it’s hard,” said Davis. “I’m a 14-year Burke resident, a mom, a former elder care specialist, a community advocate, and someone who knows how to bring people together to get things done.”
Davis’s campaign is grounded in three top priorities:
With experience in grassroots organizing, Davis understands the value of listening to her community and building coalitions that cross political lines.
“I’ve had the hard conversations. I’ve built relationships across party labels. And I know that most Virginians, no matter how they vote, want the same thing: safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and a government that respects their time and money,” Davis said.
Her campaign emphasizes accessibility, authenticity, and action. She believes that lasting change comes from diversity of thought in local leadership.
